What is the process for fabric lamination? - HONGJUN

The fabric laminating process generally includes four links: fabric preparation, coating, hot pressing and cooling.

1. Fabric preparation: First prepare the fabrics that need to be fitted, including outer fabric and lining fabric. The outer fabric is generally soft, comfortable and wear-resistant, while the inner fabric is selected according to the requirements of different products.

2. Coating: Heat the hot melt adhesive particles to a melted state, and apply the melted glue evenly on the outer fabric through a coating machine. The speed and temperature of the coating machine need to be adjusted according to the characteristics and requirements of different fabrics to ensure uniform glue liquid.

3. Hot pressing: Place the outer fabric and lining fabric coated with glue in a hot press machine for hot pressing treatment. The temperature and pressure of the heat press need to be adjusted according to the type and requirements of the fabric to ensure that the fabrics can be fully bonded together. The hot pressing time is shorter, usually ranging from a few seconds to a few minutes.

4.Cooling: After hot pressing, place the fitted fabric on the cooling table for cooling. The purpose of cooling is to quickly solidify the fitted fabric to make it stronger and more stable.
